The 21st century has begun. What changes do you think this new century will bring? Use examples and details in your answers .
The 21st century will bring many changes. Some of these changes have already begun. Some of the biggest changes of the new century will be in the areas of access to information, international relations, and family structure.
We have already entered the Information Age. The lnternet has made information available to everyone. As time goes on, more and more people will use the Internet regularly. It will become a common part of everyday life. We will not have to go to libraries to do research, travel to hear an expert speak, or go to a store to buy a book. All the information we want will be available to us at home on our computers.
The face of international relations is changing. Countries will have to change the way they relate to one another because of the global economy. They will have to cooper ate more. Already we have the European Economic Union. In the new century, countries will continue to form new alliances because of the global economy.
Family structure will also change. The traditional mother/father/children family will no longer be the only type. There will be more single parent families and more families with adopted children. There will also be more couples who have few children or none at all.
Whatever the changes may be, whether in the way we receive information, the way nations cooperate with one another, or the way families are defined, you can be sure that there will be more change. Change is a constant.
